Perhaps the most visible Badger in the NFL is also one of the most giving and inspiring men in the league. On Saturday night, J.J. Watt was named the 2017 NFL Man of the Year award winner.
Raising some $37 million for Hurricane Harvey relief in Houston and taking plenty of his time to do other charitable work made his selection as Man of the Year an easy one.
Watt, ever one to not take the spotlight for himself, managed to inspire with a great speech at last night’s NFL Honors ceremony.
We could go over the words in the speech, but we’ll let Watt speak for himself:
If you can’t get inspired by what Watt did and highlighted about others, then I don’t know what will.
