5 names Michigan Wolverines need to consider in replacing Brady Hoke

For the better part of the last month it has become clear that the Michigan Wolverines were heading in a different direction for the football program. The resignation of athletic director Dave Brandon was the first big clue, and on Tuesday we got official word that Brady Hoke is out as the head coach at Michigan.

So, all the attention turns to whom the Wolverines will be hiring as his replacement. After listening to Hackett’s press conference we at least have a clue as to the type of person that they program will look for.

The next head coach is going to check all the boxes in terms of core values and winning football. There also won’t be a “Michigan man” litmus test, although having ties won’t hurt.

Knowing what Hackett said today, who should be on the list of consideration? Here are five names we’d be looking at.
