Just prior to Dark Night in the Shoe, the marketing tag-line for the Ohio State vs. Penn State game tonight set by some marketing guru at The Ohio State University, we all witnessed a simply unbelievable and surreal ending in college footall in Ann Arbor.
Let’s call it Dark Night in the Big House.
The set up: Michigan was up by two after making a big stop to take the ball back from the Spartans on downs. Three running plays later, and with MSU exhausting its last timeout, the Wolverines salted the clock all the way down to about ten seconds left in the game before snapping the ball one last time for a punt and likely program defining win.
