Michigan State’s Shilique Calhoun gets his sack after 24-yard chase (Video)

No one will ever accuse Michigan State defensive end Shilique Clahoun of not having a high motor — on or off the field. The guy just doesn’t give up.
Last season he burst on to the scene with a crazy opening week that arguably saved the Spartans from near embarrassment. There was no need for that on Friday night against Jacksonville State, but with his team up 45-7 and the Gamecocks threatening to score Calhoun stepped up to the plate once again.
Calhoun chased former Minnesota Golden Gophers quarterback Max Shortell for 24 yards behind the line of scrimmage and it didn’t end well for Shortell. In fact, here’s how it ended:
