Previews, Predictions for Week 6 of Big Ten football

The Big Ten division races begin in earnest this weekend, and if the first real week of conference competition was any indication, we could be in for a wild ride throughout the rest of the Big Ten football season. However, there’s little doubt that the East and West division races are going to be affected in a big way by one matchup in particular — Michigan State hosting Nebraska.

On the one hand we’ve got the only undefeated team in the conference, on the other we’ve got the team that most of the college football public still loves. This is an important springboard for the winner, and if we know anything about these two former Legends division rivals, we’re in for a treat.

That’s one of five conference matchups this week, and the only one that isn’t a divisional game. Dare we say, this weekend will be the tone setter for the rest of the season? It very well may be the week that separates contenders and pretenders and that makes this weekend very intriguing.

Let’s remind you of how our expert panel has fared so far this season in our picks before we unleash another round of analysis your way.
