Previews and Predictions for every Week 10 Big Ten football game

[Insert obligatory mention of Halloween weekend here]

Now that you’ve got that out of your system, its time to get on to the real reason we’re all here…Big Ten football. This weekend has a funny feel to it, with matchups that really don’t move the meter ahead of perhaps the single biggest game in the Big Ten this year.

Also, missing Michigan State on the slate of games isn’t helping much. However, don’t sleep on this weekend as there are matchups that could make or break seasons for some teams. Out in the West division there’s a key matchup between Iowa and Northwestern, with the loser likely out of the race. In the East it could be the last good opportunity for Maryland to reach bowl eligibility, and doing it against an old rival in Penn State may be even sweeter.

Let’s not forget the ever crazy battle for the Illibuck as well! Who doesn’t love a traveling turtle trophy, am I right?

See, even in the week’s where matchups don’t pop off the screen at you, there are silver linings and games that matter. Speaking of things that matter, let’s take a look at the standings of our writers weekly picks, shall we?
