It is officially Big Ten football season for both the Northwestern Wildcats and the Wisconsin Badgers. After bye weeks last week to regroup (and get healthy), real football is here for both teams.
Wisconsin snapped a long losing streak in Evanston last season, while Northwestern did the same in the 2015 matchup in Madison. Both come in to this game knowing just how important getting off to a winning start in conference play will be.
Rather than separate our two site experts, we brought both Andy Coppens and Philip Rosmann-Reich together to preview, predict and prognosticate the Big Ten opener for both teams.
With an 11am kick time on ABC, this game clearly has some juice to it. But, what did our experts have to say?
Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel for all your Big Ten coverage and our talkingBadgers channel as well. Oh, and of course it is becoming fall…so why not go out and get the gear to support your favorite Big Ten site. We’ve got the famous “You Said It All” shirt in hoodie and zip-up form for all your fall Saturday needs.
