*Over the next nine days we will be breaking down each position group in the Big Ten, starting with the media darlings at quarterback. Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter @BigTenOT and like us on Facebook.
Big Ten quarterbacks don’t get the respect they deserve sometimes and entering 2014, that could be changing.
All one has to do is look to the reemergence of one Nathan Scheelhaase at Illinois in 2013 to prove all it takes is the right place, the right coaching and the right timing for something spectacular to happen. What really makes this group isn’t the star power, of which there are three established stars, but the vast potential that exists in the group.
Battles will also wage on at places like Michigan, Nebraska and Wisconsin just to name a few. Other battles flamed out this spring or had parts subtracted throughout the offseason.
So, let’s take a look at how the Big Ten shapes up entering the 2014 season.
